I prepare independent expert reports for matters in which likely remaining lifespan is an important part of the evidence. My academic background in forensic anthropology and forensic science supports a structured approach to research, source evaluation and the interpretation of complex information. ## Expert evidence, with a clear purpose. A life expectancy opinion can affect significant decisions about an estate, future care or the financial arrangements that support a person. That makes the reasoning behind the opinion as important as the conclusion itself. My work covers statutory will applications, deputyship matters, contested probate, personal injury, clinical negligence and other litigation. I consider medical records alongside social care information, evidence of everyday functioning and relevant published research. I look carefully at the relevance and limitations of each source. A person’s circumstances cannot simply be reduced to their age or a diagnosis. The report needs to show how the individual evidence relates to the research and why a particular conclusion is supported. ## My role at Nellie Supports. I have been Director of Operations at Nellie Supports since 2019. Life expectancy instructions are handled through the practice, which provides the administrative and governance support for enquiries, documents, case administration and invoicing. I remain responsible for the expert analysis, my opinion and the final report content. That distinction matters: the administrative support of a practice sits alongside the personal responsibility of an independent expert. Professional background ### Science. Research.
